A Micro-lot coffee you must try! Sumatra Lintong is quite unique and special. Lintong is a village found on the northern side of Sumatra. This coffee is grown at 5,500 feet above sea level. A fully washed Sumatra, this coffee had a wonderful floral aroma with hints of sweet peas and sweet potato. This Sumatra Lintong is a bright, clean, heavy-bodied coffee. A real treat – drink slow and savor every sip!

Notes: Coffees from the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra are admired for their complex fruit and aromatic wood notes that result in part from a variation in wet-processing called wet hulling. This is a particularly refined example of the style. Café Excellence is a roaster/retailer located in Audubon, Pennsylvania owned by the Valerio family, whose history in coffee stretches back to 1958.
Blind assessment: Elegant, lively notes of moist freshly-fallen leaves, pungent grapefruit and cedar dominate in aroma and cup. Balanced, smoothly bright acidity; syrupy mouthfeel. Rich, sweet, flavor-saturated finish.
Who should drink it: Smoothly bright, pungently refreshing example of the finest traditional style of Sumatra coffee.
